Bad Bills Already Being Submitted in the General Assembly

The General Assembly Session doesn't start until latter in the month, but the bad bills are already being submitted.

Thanks to Mike Stollenwerk for spotting these three bills:

HB1730 - Sponsor Alexander - (D-89) - allows police out of uniform to conduct traffic stops. It's a well known scam for criminals to stop motorists by impersonating LEOs to rob or rape citizens. This will only make this scam more likely to happen.

HB 1773 - Sponsor Cosgrove (R-78) - A bill to repeal a citizen's right to swear out arrest warrants against police and school officials. This is horrible. Why should there be a higher standard for issuing a warant against police and school employees than normal people?

HB 1774 - Sponsor Cosgrove (R-78) - A bill to outlaw "Disorderly houses"

If you see any bills of interest (good or bad) please send them to info@richmondliberty.org.
