Come to Verifiable Voting Coalition of Virginia
Lobby Day Tue Jan 16
Meet in the 3rd floor East Conference Room at 8AM
Delegate Tim Hugo and Senator Jeannemarie Devolites Davis have reintroduced legislation requiring voter-verified paper audit trails for voting equipment, and strongly pushing optical scan machines. For these bills to become law, we will have to make a strong showing to our legislators. Digital voting machines that lack a voter-verified paper trail are subject to programming errors and possible fraud, with no capability for meaningful audits or recounts.
If you care about the integrity of Virginia elections, now is the time to act! Come to lobby day in Richmond on Jan. 16, 2006 and let our representatives know that Virginians care about the integrity of our elections, and that we demand transparent and reliable elections. We will provide materials and information. No experience is necessary; we will train you and partner you with another volunteer.
